Shailaja Balakrishnan is the wife of leading Kollywood actor Vikram. She born in 1958 in Thalaserry Kerala and she is 62 years old. After two years the couple gave birth to two children’s Akshita in 1993 and Dhruv Vikram in 1995. Her daughter Akshita got married to Manu Ranjith great son of Politician M.Karunanithi on 13th October 2017. Son Dhruv Vikram started his carrier in Tamil cinema and did Varma movie as a debut. The movie becomes a big hit and his popularity gone so high. Aditya Varma movie was a remake of the Telugu movie Arjun Reddy by Vijay Devarakonda.

She started her schooling in the year 1962 to 1973 at Auxilium Convent High School, Mumbai. She has completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Home Science from Ramnarain Ruia College. After this, she has done a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), English language and Literature, General.
After completing her studies she started teaching at Emirates National School, Sharjah. Then after that, she also did coordinator work at The Indian High School, Dubai. Now she is an Academic Consultant at Ryall Associates. She has not mentioned her parents. It may be updated soon.
