In-country like India people sees cricket as not only a game that gives entertainment but it is more than that. Before a decade cricket was a game where only men’s can play. But now the situation has changed a lot after Mithali Raj, Anjum Chopra, Jhulan Goswami, Harmanpreet Kaur entry. People started to watch women’s cricket also and now it a part of cricket.
Early life and family:
She was born on Aug 06, 1996, in Churu district, Jaipur, Rajasthan and now she is in her 25th age. At her early stage of life, she struggled a lot to come for this sport being a middle-class girl. Her father Sudrenra punia Clerck of survey department have not abled to afford her expense for coaching and other sports-related things. But anyhow he managed toughly to make her what she is now. Her mother being a homemaker also supported her a lot to attain this position. She has one younger brother who is also pursuing cricket.
Her father surendher Punia even made a separate cricket court for her outside of Jaipur. Her father took a loan and sold his property to support his daughter. She loves playing badminton other than cricket.
Journey of Cricket
Priya punia was a student of Rajkumar Sharma for seven years. After that she moved to Delhi for higher coaching wherein jaipur it is not available. Here comes the real struggle in her life. She got jaundice and after three months she got fracture in his thumb. Then her father came to delhi and supported her along with motivation. She took her father as hero and managed all the problems and went to training day and night.
She is playing and taking cricket coaching from her 7th age under the guidance of Rajkumar Sharma who was the coach for our Indian team captain Virat Kohli. She participated in her first match in Delhi against Bangalore, it was a t20 match. Then she played one day ODI in Bangalore against Delhi. In this ODI she scored 407 runs with an average striking rate of 50.
Then her dream comes true she got an opportunity to play in an international cricket match representing India against Australia in the year 2018. Then in 2019, she played ODI against New Zealand. In all the matches she proved her talent and played well.
Her jersey Number is #5 and she is the best right-hand batswomen.

When puniya’s Father said her about this she refused suddenly and said that recommendation will not give me satisfaction on this sport.
