Times of India stated that Arjun Das plays a confident role in the Perumaan movie. He also completed a short-term course in Koothu-p-phattarai and Evam in Chennai.

In this movie actor, Karthi plays a hero role. Initially, Arjun was hesitant to sign the film, due to the importance and substance of the character. Arjun Das quoted that doesn’t prepare seriously for any scene in Kaithi movie but he does it very well. He used to see youtube videos and research on how drug-addicted people will behave and speak. After releasing Kaithi became a huge blockbuster hit and his character was greatly appreciated by many legends and actors. The baritone voice of Arjun Das adds a greater advantage for that villain character. The dialogue “Life Time Settlement” was liked by many peoples.
Following Kaithi again Arjun Das was roped in the master movie by Lokesh Kanagaraj which was lead by the biggest actor in Tamil “Joseph Vijay”. He played Das role in that movie and it was also a negative character as a sub-antagonist who is responsible for controlling the children of a juvenile center with the influence of drugs.
Then he played the independent Netflix film Andhaghaaram which was ventured by Atlee in the year 2020. In this movie, he played the role of Vinod, An alcoholic and smoke addict of a coach.
