Kalidas Jayaram Family And Early Life

Kalidas was born and brought up in Kerala on Feb16th, 1993 and he is 28 years old. Both his father and mother are very successful actors in south Indian. His father’s name is Jayaram and her mother’s name is Parvathy. Kalidas completed his early schooling in chennai, Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan, and did his higher education at Choice School, Cochin, Kerala. After completing his schooling he joined the most prestigious institution Loyola College, Chennai, and completed his bachelor’s degree in the stream of Visual Communication. Kalidas has one younger sister named “Malavika Jayaram” who completed her studies just some years back.

Career Of Kalidas Jayaram

Kalidas started his acting career at the age of 7 itself as a child artist. He made his debut in “Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal” in the Malayalam language and this film also received a national Award for best-featured film in the Malayalam language. His second movie was “Ente Veedu Appuvinteyum” in the year 2003 and he received a National award for his role as Best child artist. In this movie Kalidas played a role of middle-schooler who ends up in a juvenile home after accidentally killing his baby brother. He also won a keeral state film award for this film.

Though he was enjoying a successful career as a child artist he also gave importance to studies and scored good marks in his higher and secondary education. Then after 13 years of study life, he again came back to the acting profession as full-fledged. His tamil debut movie was “men Kulambum Mann paanaiyum”. The performance of Kalidas in this film was highly appreciated. He Won the best debut actor in SIIMA awards.

Then he played a lead role in Balaji Tharaneetharan’s movie “Oru Pakka Kathai” in the year 2014 in the Tamil language. He made his debut as a lead actor in Malayalam cinema in “Poomaram” in the year 2018. In the year 2019 he made 2 movies Mr &Ms. Rowdy and Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu. In addition to movies he also performed in Vijay Awards and he is a mimicry artist too.

Kalidas appeared in a Tamil Netflix series – Paava Kathaigal in which he took a bold character to act and performed well.

Recent news states that Kalidas is going to act in Lokesh Kanagaraj film Vikram lead by Kamal hasan and he is acting as a son of Kamal. Moreover Kalidas also roped in a Pa Ranjith and Kiruthiga Udhayanithi’s Untitiled film.
