    Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, popularly known as the Iron Man of India, was a pivotal figure in the struggle for India’s independence. He was often referred to as the ‘Bismarck of India’ for his ability to unify the nation.

The most famous of these is the Statue of Unity, which is the world’s largest statue and is situated in Gujarat, India. The statue was built to commemorate Patel’s efforts in unifying India.

    In addition to this, the Indian government has also established a number of awards and scholarships in Patel’s name.
